ATHS Meeting: The Lincoln Family, It’s lost & hidden history.

Gwinn Thompson is a retired high school English teacher, realtor, and historian. She has written several books independently and collaboratively with Jerry Colemen.  Gwinn and Jerry researched and co-authored The Lincoln Family: Its Lost and Hidden History. This book represents extensive research into the early lives of the Lincoln Family in Hardin and Washington Counties in KY. In her personal life, Gwinn enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, Gracie and Cooper. Additionally, she is actively involved with community services and projects.

The presentation will focus on the early lives of the Lincolns in Mill Creek, Hardin County, KY, and Beechland in Washington, KY; she will share a variety of controversial topics and will dispel myths and misinformation that have been perpetuated over more than two centuries.
