ATHS Meeting: Speaker Earl Myers

George Earl Myers, Kentucky author will present the intriguing highlights of the courtship and marriage of Mary Todd and Abraham Lincon. Mr. Myers has a DNA connection to Lincoln and Lincoln’s friend, Denton Offutt. Denton Offutt was Lincoln’s partner as was William Berry. Myers will also discuss the Hart/Clay and Hart/Shelby marriages both of which are included in his latest book “Kentucky’s Greatest.

Meyers is a Kentucky native, born in Elizabethtown, currently living in Louisville and has his BS, MA Degrees and Post Graduate studies in Industrial Education & Administration at Western Kentucky University. He is a lifetime member of NSAI and Kentucky Genealogical Society, served nine years as ATHS Historian, Past President of the Louisville Thurston Chapter of the KSSAR and Louisville Genealogical Society.
